I had so much fun photographing my neighbors children in the park! Not only do I already know them, but I had plenty of time to “plot” what we were going to do. With that in mind we got to enjoy a fun day of reading on our own private “blanket island” in the park and play with toys, and the girls got their own special tea party for (with English accent) “ladies”….lol. I can’t wait to take their family pictures. They are such a fun family that always makes me smile. Enjoy!
I just can’t get enough of babies!!! I love how they are all so different and unique. The more they grow the more of their own little person they become. I know with my own kiddos they seemed so similiar when they were newborns and now, even though they are only 2 and 8 months, they are such different people. I have room in my heart for both of them and they both can make me laugh for completely different reasons. I really think that there is nothing better than laughing with someone under the age of 5. Makes my heart melt everytime and gives me a serious case of the giggles.
Mister Jayden was so much fun. He definetely took a liking for my beanbag chair and I am pretty sure he could have stayed the night in the park wrapped up in my fleece blanket with mom and his binkie 🙂 I hope everyone enjoys! I know I am enjoying my job for sure!!!
This little miss was a complete doll! For only being 9 months old, she really knew how to work that camera!! I can’t wait to take more pictures of her. Maybe a 1 year cake smash is in order 🙂
I was blessed with the amazing opportunity to photography this little beauty. For almost being 7 months old this little lady has been through more that most of us will ever go through in life. It is a miracle that she is with us today and I am so thankful that I got to give the gift of photographing her to her parents and family. Although we just met, she already holds a very special place in my heart and I hope that I get many more opportunities like this one. Thank you and enjoy!
My family went on vacation to our cabin in the mountains in Eastern Oregon. Lucky for me Miss Reagan and her parents got to come too! So why not take advantage of one of the most beautiful places in the world and take her 3 month pictures!! My husband calls this God’s country and, for once, I cannot argue with him. I have yet to find a place more peaceful and calming than this. We are truely blessed to be able to have a special place like this.
Here is my not so little guy who turns 6 months old on Monday. I cannot believe how much time has passed since the day we woke up in the middle of the night to have him 🙂 He is so into trying to crawl I could barely keep him sitting up. But we got a couple sitting up pictures which makes me happy. Maybe in a couple days I can finally get the cute naked sitting up bum shot that I wanted so bad. I hope everyone enjoys! Meagan
I was just sitting here and realized that in less than a month it will be time for my first wedding! I am beyond excited about this. Lately I have been working so hard to get things going at Meagan Opel Photography. Networking on Facebook and with friends trying to build my portfolio up as much as I can. If you know anyone that is interested in getting their pictures taken I am having amazing portfolio building discounts right now. Yesterday I found the perfect time with my boys (between dinner, nap, and getting ready for bed) and got these cute pictures. I am constantly amazed at how much they just are completely in love with each other. I will have to keep these pictures for when they get older so I can show them that they did get along at one point in time 🙂 Enjoy-Meagan!
So I am trying to find my style and I think I am getting a little bit closer. Here are some great pictures I got of my son Hunter yesterday. I am glad that we decided to mess around because this morning is only showing dismal rain. Good for the plants….not for the camera. Hopefully the sun comes back out soon so we can get more shoots outside.
So yesterday I finally got off my fanny and washed this nasty cooking pot that has been living in our backyard for a while. And by wash I mean I stood back and let the hose to the work. Then I flipped it over and let the sun do the rest of the dirty work and dry it. Yeah I know I left it in the backyard. My plan was to put a blanket down inside and put Hayden somewhere and take some pictures. Last night my 2-year-old Hunter says “Look at me mom!”. I look over and he, somehow, has stuffed himself in this pot. So I took some pictures because frankly these opportunities don’t really present themselves very often with him. Next came Hayden who has much less of a choice in the matter. But as you can see he was pretty darn happy hanging out in a pot in the garden too. Enjoy!
First off I am so loving my gmail email account. I typed up an email to a client and said I was attaching a document to the email and then went to send it without doing what???? Attaching the document of course. So I hit send and this little box popped up and said, “you typed you attached something, but you didn’t actually do it”. My mouth was wide open and I was like um your are right!!!
On to the pictures…..This is my sweet little sister Kelly and her handsome son Hank William. This was a really impromptu photo session. Like hey it’s not raining come sit in the chair and let me take some pictures!!! I am glad that some of them turned out well. I can’t wait until we can plan a real session and get some awesome shots that show this cute guy in action!
