Mister Jayden

I just can’t get enough of babies!!! I love how they are all so different and unique. The more they grow the more of their own little person they become. I know withΒ  my own kiddos they seemed so similiar when they were newborns and now, even though they are only 2 and 8 months, they are such different people. I have room in my heart for both of them and they both can make me laugh for completely different reasons. I really think that there is nothing better than laughing with someone under the age of 5. Makes my heart melt everytime and gives me a serious case of the giggles.

Mister Jayden was so much fun. He definetely took a liking for my beanbag chair and I am pretty sure he could have stayed the night in the park wrapped up in my fleece blanket with mom and his binkie πŸ™‚ I hope everyone enjoys! I know I am enjoying my job for sure!!!

Miss Katelynn Kay

This little miss was a complete doll! For only being 9 months old, she really knew how to work that camera!! I can’t wait to take more pictures of her. Maybe a 1 year cake smash is in order πŸ™‚

Raegan the Princess

I was blessed with the amazing opportunity to photography this little beauty.Β  For almost being 7 months old this little lady has been through more that most of us will ever go through in life. It is a miracle that she is with us today and I am so thankful that I got to give the gift of photographing her to her parents and family. Although we just met, she already holds a very special place in my heart and I hope that I get many more opportunities like this one. Thank you and enjoy!

Reagan is 3 Months!

My family went on vacation to our cabin in the mountains in Eastern Oregon. Lucky for me Miss Reagan and her parents got to come too! So why not take advantage of one of the most beautiful places in the world and take her 3 month pictures!! My husband calls this God’s country and, for once, I cannot argue with him. I have yet to find a place more peaceful and calming than this. We are truely blessed to be able to have a special place like this.

Hayden is 6 months!

Here is my not so little guy who turns 6 months old on Monday. I cannot believe how much time has passed since the day we woke up in the middle of the night to have him πŸ™‚ He is so into trying to crawl I could barely keep him sitting up. But we got a couple sitting up pictures which makes me happy. Maybe in a couple days I can finally get the cute naked sitting up bum shot that I wanted so bad. I hope everyone enjoys! Meagan

Its getting closer!

I was just sitting here and realized that in less than a month it will be time for my first wedding! I am beyond excited about this. Lately I have been working so hard to get things going at Meagan Opel Photography. Networking on Facebook and with friends trying to build my portfolio up as much as I can. If you know anyone that is interested in getting their pictures taken I am having amazing portfolio building discounts right now. Yesterday I found the perfect time with my boys (between dinner, nap, and getting ready for bed) and got these cute pictures. I am constantly amazed at how much they just are completely in love with each other. I will have to keep these pictures for when they get older so I can show them that they did get along at one point in time πŸ™‚ Enjoy-Meagan!

Busy Bee

So I have been neglecting my blog, but I have been crocheting props like crazy (I will post pics later) and learning how to use Photoshop so my post process work is shorter and better quality. I was using Picasa before, which is a great program, but I needed something that allowed me to have been control over my images like Lightroom and Photoshop can. I have also created a watermark on my photos now. I am not going to lie I am super excited about this next step and really feel like my images are starting to step up to the next level. Let me know what you think!!!

Kiddos and Kittens

The best thing about having babies and kittens in the same house is that you can take pictures of them together. I have never seen two things together that acted more natural. My son Hayden just stared at the kitten and she stared right back. Neither one of them were afraid of the other at all. Sometimes we forget how innocent everything is at the very beginning.
